SharpLight  Rapid Vanish

SharpLight’s innovative and safe med-aesthetic systems offer excellent, lasting hair reduction/removal results with minimum discomfort in a relatively small number of treatment sessions. More specifically, SharpLight’s advanced technologies, based on pulsed light or photodepletion, enable personalized, precise treatments that achieve
effective, permanent results. Using these technologies, the hair reduction is achieved when the energy is transformed to heat in the active growth follicles, coagulating the follicle and limiting re-growth. The technologies’ high heat power delivers noticeable results in less time – and these results are targeted so as to protect the surrounding skin.

Hair Removal Technologies Applied

Dynamic Pulse Control (DPC) - 635nm

Dyanmic Pulse Control (DPC) is a powerful light-based  technology that effectively targets the hair follicle without harming any other parts of the skin. During the treatment the heat energy from the laser denaturizes the melanin in the hair follicle and as a result, that follicle cannot grow new hair.  Thus, the permanent reduction of unwated hair.

LP-ND YAG 1064nm

This type of laser delivers a powerful long pulse of 1064nm wavelength for treatment; the laser of choice when treating darker skin types 5 & 6.  The hair in skin type 5 & 6 sits 3 to 4mm deeper, hence longer wavelengths are needed as the photons must reach the target in order to be absorbed to destroy the target.

The first advantage of the LP-ND YAG laser; it has a greater depth of penetration, and can therefore reach deeper dermal skin layers, which the shorter wavelengths cannot.

Second, the laser heats the target area more precisely than the shorter wavelengths; preventing damage to neighboring cells.

In using Dynamic Pulse Control (DPC) Laser or ND YAG Long Pulse Laser technology we will be able to service clients with skin type 1-6 based on the Fitzpatrick Scale.

It is important to book a consultation to determine the best laser technology for you.

During a consultation we review; pre-treatment procedures, skin typing, skin testing if required and pre care-instructions.
